The sad thing is, most people are so bereft of the concept of logic and how to use it, so incapable of using their intellectual faculties to discern that they often buy what anyone with a degree on something tells them. I have no degrees in climatology, just a lot of horse sense and I have been saying for years that this is a bunch of cowcrap. For crying out loud, Greenland is a sheet of ice now and 1000 years ago, Eric the Red or Leif Ericcson (cannot offhand recall which) named it "Greenland" because it was green then.

The earth was warmer during the so-called "Dark Ages" than it was in the twentieth century to say nothing of the twenty-first century. Global temperatures between 1940 and 1980 cooled, in the late 1970's many "experts" were saying it would be "another ice age." Then the earth warmed from 1980 to approximately 2000 and they sceamed "global warming oh God the seas will rise." Now things are cooling again and have been since approximately 1999-2000 and they are trying to equivocate on the temperature in order to claim an "emergency" no matter which direction the temperatures go in direct violation of the law of non-contradiction.
